For idyllic views at every turn…
Kimiko Hosaki, Founder and Creative Director of Elements by K.H & co., shares, “At this resort, you have no shortage of venues with picturesque backdrops and unique layouts. My top spots are the Hoku Amphitheater with its tiered levels for your dining tables and the secret spa oasis where you can meander through the waterfalls and foliage to find your drink at the bar. You can rent this space per hour once the spa closes for the day.
“I also love that even though this resort has a large capacity, even during the busiest seasons, it still feels relaxed and private due to how the rooms are spread out across the property.”
Four Seasons Resort Hualalai can host up to 600 guests.

For a stunning hidden gem…
Hosaki of Elements by K.H & co. shares, “The possibilities are endless with stylish private villas to host intimate dinners or cocktail parties by your private oceanside pool while you watch the sun go down. You can sip cocktails alongside your guests with your toes in the sand at the beach bar, say your vows on a stunning black rock beach with the blue ocean behind you, and serve dinner on one of the many oceanfront lawns or luau theaters.
“I was extremely impressed by The Rosewood for the attention they paid to the history and roots of this property and the thoughtful details within their suites and common spaces. They have truly thought of everything in order to make your stay an experience to cherish.”
Kona Village, A Rosewood Resort can host up to 250 guests.

For premier service…
Hosaki of Elements by K.H & co. shares, “Hosting a dinner where your guests can have their feet in the sand and still receive premium service is often hard to find in Hawaii; but at the Auberge Mauna Lani, they have the perfect location to host your beachfront dinner under the stars.
“For large groups their pavilion offers an outdoor lawn with a stage as well as an indoor pavilion in case of rain — where you can still enjoy that open air feel by opening up the walls.”
Mauna Lani, Auberge Resorts Collection can host up to 900 guests.

For exquisite photo ops…
Fairmont Orchid boasts 32-acres of oceanfront property on the stunning Kohala Coast. Couples will love the gorgeous photo ops that include breathtaking sunsets, tranquil waterfalls, and more.
Consider an exchange of vows in the Coconut Grove, adjacent to the ancient Keanapou fish pond. Turtle Pointe boasts a spacious manicured lawn with sweeping ocean views. Receptions are just as stunning in the Grande Ballroom with its glittering chandeliers and neutral color palette. Whichever event space you choose, you’re destined to experience the beauty of Hawaii.

For 24 acres of tropical paradise…
Montage Kapalua Bay, situated on the pristine Namalu Bay, offers curated packages for a dreamy destination wedding. Whether you opt for an intimate elopement or sun-soaked nuptials surrounded by friends and family, this gorgeous resort promises a celebration set in paradise.
See how this seaside reception wowed with a tented celebration and playful pastel color palette. The ceremony was just as stunning with an asymmetrical wedding arch that framed the endless blue ocean.

For a private ceremony in a stunning locale…
Hosaki of Elements by K.H & co., shares, “This boutique Relais and Chateau Hotel is the perfect oasis for groups of up to 150. I highly recommend a full-hotel buyout when possible, which allows for your guests to connect and provides more flexibility with the use of all the venues throughout your stay.
“My favorite ceremony location is the Mango Grove. It used to be an area of the property that was only utilized as a garden for the restaurant until I approached the owners about using it for my couple’s ceremony — so I could perch them between the mango trees and transition to the Sunset Lawn for the cocktail hour and dinner. Now it is a popular spot for a private ceremony, which can be hard to find on Maui. Their ballroom is also one of a kind with a waterfall that runs underneath it and floor-to-ceiling windows.”
Hotel Wailea can host up to 150 guests.

For the soon-to-be-engaged couple…
Hosaki of Elements by K.H & co. shares, “Although this stunning one-of-a-kind historical venue is not currently taking bookings due to a challenging re-permitting process on the island, they plan to again in the future. So couples who may not be in a rush or who are not yet engaged should keep it on their list for 2025. Watch their Instagram account where they will make an announcement once they open for bookings again.”
