Eating delicious cuisine just got a whole lot easier. While parties and milestone events slowly return, six of Los Angeles’s top caterers are continuing to reinvent the notion of at-home fine dining with their exclusive catering menus for pickup or delivery.
Without a doubt, COVID-19 forced caterers to think outside the box and reimagine their offerings. As 24 Carrots Catering and Events shared in the early stages of the pandemic, “In a time like this, we find the best in us, and the best in each other . . . How we do it is a little different for now, but with the help of amazing clients and wonderful community, we’re still delivering what 24 Carrots is known for – phenomenal food and exceptional service.”
In addition to providing an online market place, Good Gracious! Events met the times by providing over 5,000 meals per week to the Children’s Hospital of LA. As they shared on their website, “Our culinary team has come together to make this happen curating delicious, healthy, and freshly prepared lunch and dinner for the hospital staff, doctors, and nurses.”
Sourced Craft Cocktails brought the work-time happy hour back by hosting a streamed experience where employees could order the cocktails of their choice and have them delivered to their homes. Sourced Craft Cocktails shared, “This program benefits local bartenders by putting them to work delivering your cocktails across NYC, Austin, Dallas, San Francisco, and Los Angeles, and 5% of each order goes to the US Bartenders Guild relief fund to help support bartenders on a national scale.”
Those words still ring true today, even as we are evolving past lockdown. And while we are happy that we aren’t in the same restrictive position we were then, we are still loving all of the at-home fine dining options still available to us.

- Partnering with local partners in Austin, Dallas, New York, Los Angeles, and San Francisco to supply the spirits
- Hiring out-of-work local bartenders to deliver the cocktails while bars and restaurants are closed
5. Haute Chefs LA
- Offers family meals (serving 4 – 6) in sustainable disposable packaging, with purposely accessible price points
- Large meals, with potential for leftovers, include lite grocery essentials and sanitizing wipes
- No-touch delivery available in the Los Angeles area (including Malibu to Pasadena)
6. Heirloom LA
- Offering customized menus for small gatherings of ten — with options for onsite staff (following full safety precautions) or drop-off, ready to eat catering
- Online orders available for delivery or pick up with catering options ranging from platters and entrées to sides and kids’ menus
- Committed to providing nutrient-rich, organic meals each week to to those who are food insecure
