Hundreds of top-tier event professionals gathered in Chicago for PartySlate’s exclusive Midwest Summit — a thoughtfully curated experience that blended education, inspiration, and elevated hospitality. From an intimate welcome dinner to a full day of panels and an epic cocktail celebration, the event spotlighted the creativity, connection, and collaboration that define the best of the events industry.
Intimate Dinner at the Dalcy

The celebration kicked off with an intimate dinner at The Dalcy, hosted by PartySlate. Known for its refined setting and exceptional service, The Dalcy delivered an impeccable dining experience, with elevated cuisine, curated beverages, and a stylish backdrop perfect for an evening of meaningful conversation.
The dinner was flawlessly produced by Michelle Durpetti Events, who created a warm yet sophisticated atmosphere. Revel Decor filled the space with lush blooms, dreamy draping and layered textures, enhanced by linens from Nuage Designs and shimmering tabletops from Hall’s Rental. The overall aesthetic was both elevated and inviting — a perfect tone-setter for the days ahead.
Entertainment by The Gold Coast All Stars created a lively ambiance, while fine sparkling rosé from Aphrodise elevated each toast. Guests were greeted with custom paperie by Ceci New York, whose signature style added an extra level of polish from invitation to place card. Capturing the evening’s elegance were La Via Visual and Collin Pierson, whose photography and videography brought the moment to life. Sourced blooms from FiftyFlowers ensured every floral detail was as fresh and stunning as the guest list.
A Day of Education at RPM Events
Day two began with a content-rich educational experience hosted by PartySlate at the dynamic RPM Events, where panoramic city views served as the perfect backdrop for a day of insight and inspiration.
Produced by Michelle Durpetti Events, the day was brought to life with custom event decor from Siblana Events, perfectly complementing the sleek, modern architecture of the venue. As with the dinner, exquisite graphic design from Ceci New York tied together each touchpoint, from welcome signage to session agendas produced by SHOUT!
The event’s lush floral moments, designed with blooms from FiftyFlowers, added energy and elegance to the setting. The Gold Coast All Stars provided the soundtrack for the day with upbeat instrumentals between sessions, while La Via Visual and Collin Pierson documented it all with editorial-style precision.
Cocktail Celebration at House of Blues Chicago
The two-day celebration culminated in a high-energy cocktail party at House of Blues Chicago, hosted by PartySlate and produced by Michelle Durpetti Events. The iconic venue was reimagined into a playful, immersive experience full of bold decor moments, lively performances, and personalized details for Western in the Midwest.
MDM Entertainment brought the theme to life with layered decor, design and a custom photo booth that kept guests buzzing all night long. Siblana Events created an impactful decor installation providing a perfect backdrop for the band, The Gold Coast All Stars who filled the entire venue with high-energy live music throughout the night.
Ceci New York added chic design elements that carried through the signage, menus, and invitations that were brought to life by SHOUT!.
The space was perfectly complemented by luxe linens from BBJ La Tavola. The crowd enjoyed sparkling rosé from Aphrodise in their signature pink wine glasses and an over-the-top dessert cart from JoJo’s Shake Bar kept the fun going.
Keepsake embroidery from Lucky Lane Gifts provided personalized bandanas for guests to take home or wear as in-theme attire.
La Via Visual and Collin Pierson once again captured the spirit and joy of the evening, ensuring every detail — from grand entrance to final toast — was preserved in style.
