On Thursday, May 21, PartySlate CEO and Co-Founder Julie Roth Novack spoke with leading London event planner Bruce Russell to kick off PartySlate’s Fireside Chat series. They discussed London’s current state of events and what events might look like after the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as Bruce’s inspiring founding story.
Bruce Russell designs world-class weddings and parties – from multi-day destination celebrations to more intimate occasions in some of the London’s most impressive locations and private homes. He leads a team of specialists to produce stunning weddings, birthday parties, private dinners, and other events at home as well as in some of the most sought after spots around the world.
Julie delved into Bruce’s personal history, from his time spent with The Plaza, New York and London’s Savoy Hotel. With such deep roots in hospitality, making people feel welcome and taken care of is second nature for the planner. Through his experiences, he’s also built an enviable network of professionals in every field from gastronomy to fashion, entertainment to design.
