Guests enjoyed an LED entranceway, iridescent backdrops, and robotic stilt performers. Needless to say, we love a futuristic party theme.

1. Small Details That Capture Infinity
Dallas, TX
The Birthday Party Project made sure their “mission to party” was a successful fundraiser with wow-worthy décor by David Kimmel Design and other talented designers at every turn.
TPD Design House kept party cups on theme. Acrylic Sticks perfected every little detail with starburst stir sticks and an acrylic bar menu topped with an astronaut exploring the rings of Saturn.
Make sure to check out the galactic bites by Wolfgang Puck Catering – Dallas and Vestals Catering before seeing how Jordan Kahn Music Company beckoned all guests to the dance floor.
2. Laser Cut Décor
Chicago, IL
Every detail of this space-themed party — planned by Rachel De Marte Events — has us reaching for our cameras.
Kehoe Designs created an imaginative landscape with futuristic furnishings and geometric centerpieces.
Guests could order a Tang cocktail in a space pack at the laser-cut bar or enjoy photo ops with actors dressed as various sci-fi characters.
Finally, The Gold Coast All Stars topped off the evening with lively entertainment.
3. Over the Moon for Space Ceiling Décor
Houston, TX
Make your dance floor the focal point of the celebration with a dramatic ceiling installation. Oulala! What an Event did just that at this space-themed B’nai Mitzvah party. A larger-than-life “moon” floated over a deep blue dance floor with unique star projections.
Make sure to also check out the views of the celebration from the upper balcony — as well as the various museum exhibits — at Houston Museum of Natural Science.
4. Futuristic Lounge Seating
Chicago, IL
Just Right! Destination Management transformed the Adler Planetarium into a hip futuristic setting with mib pod chairs in a sleek white color palette.
Other out-of-this-world elements included custom-made geometric centerpieces, starlit projection mapping, and an LED bar area.
5. Partying at Light Speed
Warren, MI
Light and video replaced more traditional décor at this futuristic Bar Mitzvah.
Guests enjoyed riveting entertainment with a VR station and LED-foosball table.
Don’t miss the abstract neon-acrylic centerpieces or how the entranceway was transformed into a visually-stunning space portal.
6. Science Lessons On-Site
Los Angeles, CA
With a gigantic shuttle suspended overhead, and Newton’s Cradle bar décor, there’s no limit to the places you can go.
This space-age gala at California Science Center — planned by Bob Gail Events — brings us that much closer to the far reaches of the universe.
Bob Gail Music provided lively entertainment while La Tavola Fine Linen wowed with futuristic linen.
Without a doubt, the details of this celebration were modern yet timeless.
7. Kaleidoscope-Views of the Universe and Beyond
Chicago, IL
This visually-magnetic event at Moonlight Studios gets its inspiration from NASA’s twin Voyager space probes.
Projection mapping and installation artwork transformed this spacious venue into a kaleidoscope of psychedelic colors and futuristic fancy.
Don’t miss how the crystal chandeliers sparkled in different colors with ever-changing uplighting.
8. Timelessness is Trending
Chicago, IL
Look: There is so much to love from this intimate dinner in a helicopter hanger.
Revel Decor transformed the space with ethereal uplighting, mod furnishings, and winter floral installations.
Limelight Catering also wowed guests with their creative menu and artfully plated dishes.
We especially love the bar of neon lighting spanning the banquet table — as well as the clock-face projection mapping.
9. Celestial Lighting & Decorations
New York, NY
The Bat Mitzvah girl had her moment of stardom at this celestial-themed celebration.
Event planner and designer Florie Huppert Design created a magical landscape of starlit projection mapping, twinkling candlelight, and glittering drapery.
We especially adore the glittery-silver backdrop framing the bar area.
10. Betting On the Future
San Francisco, CA
We are willing to bet that this casino from the future impressed guests all night long.
Got Light transformed this clear tented space with abstract LED lighting installations.
Sleek black chairs and long white banquet tables by Blueprint Studios – Rental added a mod (and luxe) vibe.
TPD Design House created imaginative event branding, so no one is likely to forget this fantastic event or the company behind it.
11. Geometric Installations
Atlanta, GA
You see, all eyes were on this geometric installation at the opulent Fox Theatre.
We love this science-fiction-themed event with its neon lighting, whirlpool projections, and futuristic furnishings.
Greeters on stilts, along with bubble dancers, dazzled guests at every turn during this visually-stunning event.
12. Electric Extravaganza
San Francisco, CA
An ever-changing and abstract-lighting installation — designed by Got Light — makes the future look brighter.
Hensley Event Resources and Blueprint Studios – Rental teamed up to create a utopia of up-lit glass banquet tables and geometric centerpieces that evoke a solar system in orbit.
We especially admire the up-lit cocktail tables that resemble flying saucers.
13. Opulence in Orbit
Miami, FL
No doubt about it: The imaginative scope of this “Galactica” gala is as infinite as the universe itself.
Designer and Producer Galaxy Productions enthralled guests with a giant planetary ceiling installation as well as captivating neon tablescapes.
We especially love the variety of centerpieces that include bloom-woven planets and glow-in-the dark orbs.
14. Sci-Fi City Centerpieces
Boston, MA
Imagine the cities of the future. Where this will be skyscrapers soaring past the stars or flying cars zooming through puffs of clouds?
This “out of this world” Bat Mitzvah party has us anticipating future cityscapes. Towering centerpieces evoke a Sci-Fi Skyline while vibrant uplighting suggests the atmosphere of some distant planet.
Even the LED dance floor has us pondering the dance moves of the future.

Englewood, NJ
This galaxy-themed party at SPACE EVENTS was equally spectacular with floating planetary centerpieces, astronaut ice cream, and a “Please Find Your Planet” seating station.
We especially love the planetary ceiling installation suspended above the dining area, not to mention the bowling lane.

There’s no doubt about it: Other galaxies were just within reach at this space-themed party.
Blueprint Studios – Rental and Bright Event Rentals set the scene with funky space-age furnishings and a bar setup with constellation-decorated panels.
Furthermore, The Lux Productions captured our imaginations with dynamic, neon lighting installations.
We especially love how Entire Productions mesmerized guests with LED robots and Storm-Trooper performers.
17. Futuristic Party With High-Tech Activities
Scottsdale, AZ
The board game Battleship was so popular with kids (and adults) that it later inspired a science-fiction action movie.
Guess what? It also inspired this epic corporate holiday party.
This futuristic party boasted décor by Blueprint Studios — with everything from glow-in-the-dark arcade games to light tunnels.
When it came to dining, M Culinary Concepts sparked our imaginations with a futuristic “salad-hands” wall and Dim Sum docking station.
Moreover, don’t miss the lounge seating that felt straight out of The Jetsons.
18. Futuristic Entertainment With LED Robots
New York, NY
It’s true: Guests will always remember this elegant, yet lively Bat Mitzvah at SECOND.
Event planner Urban Art & Design amazed guests with iridescent-fringe décor, a lavish balloon backdrop, and walking LED entertainment.
With a future this bright, we are feeling all the love and excitement.
19. Space-Themed Photo Props
Pittsburgh, PA
Guests were ready to explore the galaxy and beyond at this SpaceX event planned by Evoke Design & Creative.
Syzygy created a neon dreamscape with bright lighting and up-lit backdrops.
Futuristic robots, astronaut performers, and the vintage arcade-game Space Invaders kept guests entertained on and off the dance floor.

20. Tray Service with Style
This futuristic party dazzled with show-stopping entertainment by J & D Entertainment.
LED-costumed performers (and glow-in-the-dark wearable trays) had everyone feeling right at home in this futuristic setting.
Servers donned metallic and robot-patterned leotards, while colorful laser lighting transformed the scene into an intergalactic Cloud 9.
21. Entertainment in Orbit
New York, NY
This neon Bar Mitzvah party takes guests to cloud nine with electrifying neon tablescapes, serving trays, and violins (yes, you read that right).
Total Entertainment made sure to end the evening with a bang. A water ball dancer floated above a psychedelic dance floor.
Other futuristic party details included LED signage, drama mask-shaped seating (you have to see it to believe it), and dramatic uplighting.
22. Music of the Spheres
Chicago, IL
When the Chicago Symphony Center puts on “The Galaxy’s Greatest Hits,” you can expect a spectacular party.
Star Trek star George Takei mingled with guests, while dramatic starlit uplighting transformed the already majestic auditorium.

This corporate event was truly “out of this world.”
Sublime lighting by Got Light transformed this hip industrial space into a celestial wonderland.
Aerialists and LED-costumed drummers gave glowing performances, while cosmic signage made for a stunning backdrop.
24. Spinning Through the Galaxy
New York, NY
Tommy Hilfiger’s 2018 Holiday Party might be in the past, but it has the future written all over it.
Astarte Creative set the scene aglow (literally) with LED hoop artists and LED violinists.
Other futuristic entertainment included mirror-suit dancers and LED stilt-walkers.
Neon signage and vibrant uplighting made for a galactic backdrop.
25. Space-Themed Sips & Bites
Miami, FL
Annie Lee of Daughter of Design and PLANNIE took party guests out of this world with a galactic cocktail party for the PartySlate Miami community.
Constellation Culinary Group dazzled guests with floating tartare bowls and CBD-infused “bubbling” ramen.
Craft Cartel- Cocktail Caterer kept the party going with smoke-infused sips and vaporized alcohol (served via balloons). Best of all, each cocktail was perfected with a hand-painted acrylic stir stick, designed by Acrylic Sticks.
26. Sparkling Champagne, Glittering Starlight
Chicago, IL
Who needs gravity? Just give us champagne.
Catering By Michaels brought delicious catering to the Columbian Ball at Museum of Science and Industry, Chicago. Guests enjoyed everything from “galaxy mousse cakes” to “pop rocks truffles.”
Even the service staff partook in the festivities with photo-worthy space suits.
