We are seeing more and more reform Bar and Bat Mitzvah services on site at a stunning venue. To decide what is right for you, check with your temple about the possibility of hosting in a different location to see if that’s an option.

If your temple is supportive and you decide to host the service at a different locale, the possibilities range from your home to beautiful garden and outdoor venues to where you’re planning your celebration. 20 Chicago Bar and Bat Mitzvah Venues for any Theme Your Teen Can Dream [2023]

Your child’s Bar or Bat Mitzvah celebration will be one of the most important milestones in your family’s life. So much depends on creating a meaningful celebration — including finding the perfect venue.

PartySlate reached out to five esteemed Bar and Bat Mitzvah vendors for their top venue recommendations in The Windy City. With years of experience and a trusted venue network, they’ve shared iconic spots as well as hidden Chicago gems.

Kareem “K.W.O.E.” Wells of Flow Entertainment, Inc, known as ‘King of the Mitzvahs’ for his interactive performances, shares, “When discussing ideal venues with our clients, we recommend spaces with great acoustics, versatility, an atmosphere that fits the style of their event, and venues that allow for great event flow. These details all work together to help create an unforgettable event.”

Megan Estrada, CEO & Event Consultant of NSWE Events, emphasizes the importance of party style. “Bar and Bat Mitzvah celebrations very often have a specific theme associated with the production. Therefore, matching that theme to the venue is usually best. Sometimes, the venue and the event dynamics just can’t match up, so we lean into a venue with a very neutral design that we can transform to fit the party theme.”

5 Must-Ask Questions for Your Bar or Bat Mitzvah Venue

Finding the right venue for your child’s Bar or Bat Mitzvah starts with knowing the right questions to ask. Each venue will have a unique layout, specific amenities, and preferred vendors. Before you can narrow down your top venue choices, it’s important to consider everything from the style of your celebration to the flow of your events.

PartySlate reached out to a top Bar and Bat Mitzvah event planner, photographer, and entertainment company to learn what questions they recommend asking potential venues. These talented vendors have worked at venues of all shapes and sizes — and know better than anyone how the event space can determine the success of a celebration.

Keep reading to discover the 5 most important questions to ask your Bar or Bat Mitzvah venue. As Kari Otero, Owner and Lead Photographer of Kari Otero Photography, says, “Finding a venue that checks all of the boxes can be challenging. It’s important to decide what will mean the most to you and your family.” But first, you need to know what to ask.

1. Is the Space Transformable?

photographer: Otero+Seclen Photography | planner: Amy Katz Events | décor: Diana Gould | venue: Pier Sixty

First and foremost, you need to know if a potential venue can transform to fit your vision. Kareem K.W.O.E. Wells, Owner of Flow Entertainment, tells us, “It’s super important to make sure the venue is a fit for your style. Vibe is key, and it builds off the venue and what you can do within the space.”

Some venues are more transformable than others. For example, an industrial loft space with white walls can be treated like a blank canvas, whereas a historic ballroom comes with its own look and feel.

Amy Katz, President and Founder of Amy Katz Events, tells hosts, “Look at the chairs and curtains. Some venues have darker chairs and curtains that may not go with your vision. Some venues have windows; some don’t. These are all important things to consider when hosting a Bar or Bat Mitzvah.”

Your Bar or Bat Mitzvah planner will be the most familiar with your vision. In addition to using PartySlate’s curated venue directory, you can ask your planner for venue recommendations based on his or her prior experience.

See how Kehoe Designs, a premier design and floral company, transformed The Geraghty in Chicago for two very different events below:

See how Paulette Wolf Events and Reva Nathan & Associates created two different looks for a Bar Mitzvah celebration and a Bat Mitzvah party at Four Seasons Hotel Chicago.

2. What Services Does the Venue Provide?

Bar Mitzvah with red uplighting at The Rainbow Room in New York City | PartySlate
photographer: Rebecca Weiss Photography | planner: Amy Katz Events | décor: Stonekelly Events | venue: Rainbow Room

Before you meet with a potential venue, create a list of high-priority amenities and services that you’d like the venue to provide. Katz of Amy Katz Events emphasizes the importance of thinking ahead. For example, if you know you want to use a video wall or screens to showcase a montage video, it’s important to ask the venue whether it has built-in screens. If not, you will be responsible for bringing in plasma screens or a video wall.

Wells of Flow Entertainment also reminds hosts to consider the guest experience. For example, “Where the restrooms are located? Is there parking or valet?”

Here are some other amenities to consider: accessibility, coat check, kosher kitchen, and WiFi access. We also recommend asking whether the venue requires in-house suppliers and caterers.

Wells also suggests considering the “flow of each element of the party.” This leads to our next important question.

3. Is There a Flexible Floor Plan?

photographer: Kari Otero Photography | planner: Florie Huppert Design | floral: Enza Events | venue: Abigail Kirsch at The Loading Dock

There’s more to this question that meets the eye. Wells of Flow Entertainment reminds hosts to consider venue size in addition to how they plan to utilize the space. “Think about if each event space within the venue is big enough for the amount of guests, types of food service, entertainment, and level of décor envisioned.”

Katz of Amy Katz Events also asks hosts to consider the number of events being held at the venue. It’s important to know whether you plan on having an on-site Bar or Bat Mitzvah ceremony. If so, can the room be turned over or do you need a venue large enough to include separate areas for the ceremony and reception?

Kari Otero, Owner and Lead Photographer of Kari Otero Photography, reminds us that “Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, in particular, juggle creating an awesome experience for both the young and young at heart. It’s important that guests move and mingle and still have an area clearly designated for them when they need to recharge.”

Katz elaborates on this idea by suggesting that the venue should be large enough to accommodate separate cocktail hours for children and adults. “Usually during a children’s cocktail hour, you will have games and activities along with entertainment,” Katz say. “The adult cocktail hour will possibly have live music.” From there, all guests will rejoin at the reception. Adults and children will also likely need separate dining areas before coming together on the dance floor.

4. Where Will the Dance Floor Go?

Bat Mitzvah girl is held up on chair during Hora at Bat Mitzvah reception | PartySlate
photographer: Moonhouse Productions | décor: Kehoe Designs | entertainment: Flow Entertainment | venue: The Park West

This leads us to our next question. Where will the dance floor go? Otero of Kari Otero Photography tells us, “Most of the formal portraits, celebrating, and milestone moments are centered around the dance floor.” As such, it’s important to select a venue that puts the dance floor front and center, while also ensuring that it is accessible to all.

Peruse PartySlate’s curated idea gallery to find inspiring dance floor setups to fit your theme and style. We love how dance floors can accommodate everything from your child’s B’nai Mitzvah colors to their personal logo. Of course, a dance floor is nothing without a band or DJ. Make sure to find a talented entertainment company near you with PartySlate’s curated vendor directory.

5. Are there Nearby Photo Opportunities?

photographer: Kari Otero Photography | planner: Florie Huppert Design | 501 Union

While your child’s Bar or Bat Mitzvah will eventually come to an end, the memories will live on forever. As such, the photographs from this important milestone will become a cherished heirloom for you and your family.

Otero of Kari Otero Photography recommends that hosts consider their final photo album when selecting a Bar or Bat Mitzvah venue. While most photos will be taken on-site, there are also opportunities to leave the venue and take family portraits at a nearby location. Consider whether your venue is conveniently located to nearby attractions or beautiful backdrops. For example, “When in New York, having a location that highlights the city and its energy can be exciting for everyone and offer iconic photo opportunities,” Otero shares.

In addition to helping you find your dream Bar or Bat Mitzvah venue, PartySlate can connect you with top vendors, including a photographer, for your celebration. Make sure to narrow your search by location, services, and more.

People Also Ask …

Where does a Bat or Bar Mitzvah take place?

A Bar or Bat Mitzvah often features three separate events. The Bar or Bat Mitzvah ceremony is incorporated into the synagogue service, which is usually held at the parents’ shul or synagogue. The service is followed by a kiddush lunch often hosted by the parents. Everyone at the service is invited to the kiddush.

Observant families will wait until the end of Shabbat to host their child’s reception or party. These receptions will usually occur after sunset on Saturday evening or the following Sunday. Less observant families may choose to host their reception on a Friday evening or before sundown on Saturday. The reception often takes place at a hotel or event venue.

Like engaged couples across the world, many B’nai Mitzvah parents had to postpone their child’s milestone or rethink the logistics of gathering their friends and family. As a result, some parents chose to host a micro Bar or Bat Mitzvah where both service and celebration took place at their private home. While large-scale celebrations are back in full swing, some parents may choose to continue thinking outside the box when it comes to their venue choice.

Why Do I Need a Bar or Bat Mitzvah Planner?

A Bat or Bar Mitzvah party planner plays many roles. From consultant and event designer to creative director and event producer, a top event planner will transform your child’s celebration into a curated experience that represents his or her interests and personality.

Planning a Chicago Bat or Bar Mitzvah celebration often starts more than a year in advance. With so many details to work out — venue selection, theming and décor choices, entertainment options, and more — it’s important to hire a talented Bat or Bar Mitzvah planner with an equally talented network of Chicago vendors.

An event planner will ensure that you are able to celebrate your child’s hard work in becoming a Bar or Bat Mitzvah with a party that reflects her or his unique style, as well as an event that will create meaningful opportunities to connect with family and friends.

After all, you will want to bask in the joy of your child’s big day — not spend the entire celebration trying to organize or troubleshoot.

What Comes Next?

How Do I Find a Venue for My Bat or Bar Mitzvah Party?

Good Question. While your Bat or Bar Mitzvah planner will likely have a list of trusted venues they’ve worked with in the past, you can also use PartySlate to find a Chicago venue perfect for your celebration size, style, and theme.

Click here to browse PartySlate’s curated directory of top Chicago event venues for Bar and Bat Mitzvah parties. You can use the filters to narrow down your search by guest count, catering or kosher options, and amenities.

When searching for a venue, remember to consider the layout of the space. Is there room for a dance floor, reception tables, and photo ops?

You’ll also want to consider whether the space suits the theme or style of your child’s celebration. For example, a raw loft space is the perfect blank canvas for creative décor. Of course, a talented Chicago event planner and design team can transform any venue space.

For example see images from two Bar Mitzvahs below to see how Kehoe Designs, a renowned Chicago design company, transformed The Geraghty for two completely different celebrations with diverging themes: an Island Chic Bar Mitzvah and a Neon Urban Art Bar Mitzvah.

For an elegant soirée, consider a historic Chicago ballroom. Meanwhile, for a venue with built-in activities, check out spaces that include ping-pong tables, bowling alleys, bocci courts, and more.

INVITATIONS & PRINT:

Without a doubt, your invitations are more than a piece of paper with the who, what, when, and where. They are the first opportunity for your guests to engage with the celebration.

Invitations can offer guests a sneak peak into the themes, color, and style of your Bar or Bat Mitzvah party. These days, invitations can even hint to dance floor patterns and photo ops.

But that’s not all. You can also use your invitations and print team to come up with creative signage, on-theme swag, and photo-worthy backdrops.

ENTERTAINMENT:

After all the hard work that goes into becoming a Bar or Bat Mitzvah, it’s time to celebrate. That’s where the entertainment comes in.

Bar and Bat Mitzvah entertainment has come a long way in the last decade. Perhaps the most popular form of entertainment involves a vibrant DJ and team of dancers.

At a Bar or Bat Mitzvah celebration, you can expect the DJ to get on the dance floor and teach kids new dance moves. Of course, your DJ will also have an eye on the adults in the room. Expect to have just as much fun on the dance floor as your kid.

It gets better. These days, entertainment goes beyond the band. Some of our favorite creative activities at Bar or Bat Mitzvah parties include old-school arcades, VR stations, and pop up shops.

But that’s not all. Don’t forget to keep guests entertained with plenty of photo ops. We love how this glamorous Bat Mitzvah party sported a photo booth with selfie-printed pop socket favors.

Bar and Bat Mitzvah parties routinely boast some of the most creative (and stunning) décor. Your child is unique; so it goes without saying, his or her party should be one-of-a-kind. That’s where your designer steps in.

Imagine a pink-themed Bat Mitzvah with lavish ceiling fringe, a monogrammed dance floor, and funky lamp centerpieces. Or envision a red carpet-style Bar Mitzvah with “giant film roll” photo ops and custom movie posters.

Before going home, all the kids joined in on a confetti popping party and were gifted customized drawstring bags.

A Bat or Bar Mitzvah party is a celebration that kids look forward to for many years. While the COVID-19 pandemic turned many 2020 plans upside down, these kids found a way to celebrate this important milestone.

During this difficult year, PartySlate has continued to recognize small celebrations. This year showed us the beauty of outdoor venues, the importance of making your guests feel included (even if they’re attending virtually), and how to host an epic party — all while following COVID-19 guidelines.

This Virtual Bat Mitzvah in New York Created Meaningful Memories, Thanks to Strategic Planning & Technology

When it comes to getting ready for a Bar or Bat Mitzvah ceremony, children prepare for well over a year. They memorize Torah portions; they write essays about what the holy words mean to them; they undertake a Mitzvah project and write about that too. Torah portions correspond to the calendar, so it’s a lot of — very date-centered — work. What happens when you undertake all of this preparation and plan a very personal celebration, but then a global pandemic interferes? This is the question thousands of pre-teens and their families are now struggling to answer. We have one such story to inspire you and perhaps offer up new perspectives and hope.

How Do You Reschedule a Rite of Passage? You Don’t.

Thirteen-year-old Jordan Sokoloff was all set to have her Bat Mitzvah ceremony at her temple, New York City’s Central Synagogue, on Saturday, April 4. As the date grew closer though, it became clear that new arrangements needed to be made — for both the ceremony and the party. Enter event planner, Amy Katz of Amy Katz Events, who had been working with the family to plan the Bat Mitzvah party.

Katz says, “Sadly, these types of decisions have become the new norm at this time. We highly suggest having the service on the original date so that the child does not need to learn any new Torah material, since they have been preparing for months on end. Hold Bar or Bat Mitzvah services virtually, so that grandparents, family, and friends can still be a part of, and celebrate, this momentous accomplishment.”

Amy Sokoloff, Jordan’s mother, shares that the family decided to host their temple’s first “Zoom Mitzvah” from their home, with their rabbi and cantor joining from their respective homes. She says, “The temple gave us the option to postpone the service, but Jordan worked so hard and was ready to go. Our family was excited for the weekend, and we decided we should just do it and give everyone something to look forward to.” Sokoloff mentions that they’ve been members of the temple for 13 years and were so looking forward to celebrating this milestone there and that they’re considering ways to do so in the future.

What to Consider for a Virtual Ceremony

Sokoloff shares an insider look into what she learned firsthand while preparing for her daughter’s Zoom Mitzvah. First, she notes that they needed to find a “pretty spot” in their home for the ceremony. “The temple offered us an image of the temple that we could use as a Zoom backdrop, but we declined,” she says. Instead, the family set up a table for the materials like Jordan’s Torah portion, candles, and notes. Sokoloff added some festive flowers for the occasion.

Additionally, the family needed to consider where and how to set up computer cameras and screens so that Jordan could see her friends and family, as well as the rabbi and cantor — and they could all see and hear her. And with all of those eyes on her, Jordan needed to look great. Sokoloff says, “I was the hair and makeup person — and the manicurist.”

Lastly, the family arranged for a take-out meal from one of Jordan’s favorite restaurants. “Jordan was a great sport. We made it as special as possible given the circumstances,” says Sokoloff. Overall, the experience was a unique one that, now that it’s over, she describes as “truly a special day.”

The Party — However — Should Be Postponed

Don’t give up on celebrating life’s big moments; instead, consider postponing. Trust us: we will all need happy reasons to gather together after the threat of this pandemic has faded. Katz says, “We are all facing an unknown future now. But, postponing to a later date is the only option at this time. We moved the party date to six months later in the hopes that the world will be safer.”

Sokoloff says of breaking the news to Jordan, “She was obviously disappointed, but not surprised, as she had just seen it happening with some of her friends. She understood that there were limited options.” The family was grateful to be working with Katz, as she worked tirelessly to find a new date in October for Jordan’s Bat Mitzvah party.

Plan B: Choosing a Friday Night Celebration

Katz says, “The first call was to the venue — the Edison Ballroom in Times Square — to get availability on any Saturday dates in 2020. Unfortunately, there were none available. Our plan B was to find another alternative. My clients decided that the best night to celebrate would be on a Friday night in October.”

“A lot of Jordan’s friends are in the same position — every Saturday in the fall is already booked with Bar and Bat Mitzvahs. Some are doing Sundays. We’re glad we were able to get a Friday evening,” says Sokoloff.

After Katz lined up some possible Friday evening dates, her next calls were to entertainment company More Than Music, décor firm Diana Gould Ltd, photographer Denis Leon, and videographer and montage-maker Artisan NY. She says, “Luckily, this was one of the first Bat Mitzvahs that needed to be postponed, so all event partners were accommodating and available. Working with an amazing team of professionals makes it easier when challenges arise as we all want the same outcome at the end of the day. The party must go on!”

Sokoloff says of the change, “Thank God I have Amy Katz —  when push came to shove and we had to postpone, it was a full day of checking with all of our vendors, and she was instrumental.” She notes that it was a rapidly changing time in terms of the pandemic in our country and that decisions about celebrations were becoming the reality. And she says, “Everyone at the same time was realizing they needed to postpone.”

Looking Ahead

The April 4 Bat Mitzvah party planning was well underway, with the Sokoloff family set to see their final table décor from the Gould team when the date needed to be postponed. The celebration, in the classic hues of black and white, silver and gold, will go on — on one fun Friday evening in October. Sokoloff says that the party will have “no theme, but a funky vibe.” They’re planning for a very fun evening of dancing all night. She adds, “We are very much looking forward to celebrating with family and friends.”

In fact, assuming all is up and running, the family is going to plan for a small temple service on the Thursday night before Jordan’s party, “We’d love for her to experience going up on the bimah and having the opportunity for a temple photoshoot,” says Sokoloff. Invitations for the first and postponed dates are from Julie Maloof Designs, while And That will be providing the personalized event swag.

Katz reminds us, in times like these, “Everyone needs to stay positive and focused as the situation will indeed get better. Having a new date in place to celebrate is something to look forward to, and this event will be even more meaningful than what was originally planned.”

13 Incredibly Versatile Bar & Bat Mitzvah Venues in Miami & Palm Beach

Miami has earned its spot as one of the world’s top tourist destinations with its miles of pristine beaches, its thriving art and fashion scenes, and its vibrant culturally-diverse neighborhoods. We love how Cuban cafés, Latin nightclubs, and five-star resorts intermingle in a scene that feels very alive and full of discovery. It’s a great city to be in at any age — and an especially poignant locale for a milestone celebration like the coming of age that is the Bar or Bat Mitzvah.

In addition to the very meaningful religious service, families often commemorate the occasion with a bash in their child’s honor. 15 Mouthwatering Sweet & Candy Table Ideas for Bar or Bat Mitzvah Celebrations

Bar and Bat Mitzvah celebrations are sweet at their core — honoring a child as he or she enters a new phase of adulthood, surrounded by his or her closest friends and family. So what could make these events even sweeter? Over-the-top candy tables. Mouth-watering sweets bars, innovative donut walls, DIY s’mores stations, and perfectly-branded confections are just a few of our favorite sweet and candy table ideas. Incorporate one of these 15 displays into your Bar or Bat Mitzvah party — we’re sure it will be a sweet success.

(Cookie) Dough to Go

photographer: Tell Draper Photography

Guests of this Chicago Bat Mitzvah party, hosted at Park West and planned by Partie Girl/Tracie Simkin, enjoyed a full sweet table from Catering by Michaels, which included a “dough to go” cookie dough station. The pink cookie dough labels and sweet table signage complemented the all-pink décor from Kehoe Designs, including a custom-monogrammed dance floor, which was packed all night thanks to The Gold Coast All Stars.

Get the Scoop

photographer: North Shore Photography

Few desserts are sweeter than ice cream, and the team at Tracy Fisher Events incorporate an ice cream station at this rock n’ roll-inspired Bar Mitzvah celebration, hosted at the W Chicago – City Center and with décor from Epic Events. When guests weren’t packing the dance floor, thanks to Flow Entertainment, they could also grab other sweets, like name-branded chocolate covered pretzels.

Creative Cookie Display

photographer: Lynn Abesera

They say you eat with your eyes first, and this beautiful cookie display is the perfect example. For this Bat Mitzvah party in Los Angeles, Marketa Harlan chose a vintage-style dresser display for custom garden-inspired cookies from caterer Culinary Creations By Chumie. Beautifully complemented by florals from Wisteria Lane Flowers, these cookies look almost too pretty to eat — almost.

Candy Drawers Store Even More

photographer: Todd France Photography

Vintage-style furniture seems to be a display trend, and we’re loving how the planners at NYLUX Events collaborated with Carlos Rivas Design & Production to select this pastel pink card catalog to hold sweets. Rock candy, sour candy, and more from Constellation Culinary Group were put on display for guests to enjoy at this Bat Mitzvah celebration at Carnegie Hall in New York.

Specialty Sweet Station

photographer: Rebecca Weiss Photography

The expert planners at Amy Katz Events seamlessly coordinated this Bat Mitzvah party’s stunning purple décor from Diana Gould Ltd with the purple-branded signage of this custom sweet station. Guests of this perfectly-purple party, hosted at Current, could stop and shop for their desserts, choosing from fresh donuts, curated candies, and more specialty confections.

Chocolate-Free Challenge

photographer: ImageLink

This Bat Mitzvah girl wanted an epic sweet table with no chocolate in sight for her celebration at Park Hyatt Washington D.C. The team at Magnolia Bluebird design & events was up for the challenge, using the ballet pink party theme to inspire this gorgeous dessert spread from Buttercream Bakeshop and Fluffness with floral centerpieces from Amaryllis.

Color-Coordinated Display

photographer: Vera Franceschi

Color was the theme of this Miami Bat Mitzvah celebration at The Ritz-Carlton Bal Harbour, so it was only fitting for Plan Design Events to create a beautiful color-coded candy and sweets display. Grouped and organized by vibrant hue, guests enjoyed French macarons, mini tiered cakes, individual creme brûlées, and other delicately-layered confections.

A Play on Pinkberry

photographer: Infinity Photography inc.

A “Jillyberry” frozen yogurt station — a play on the ever-popular Pinkberry frozen yogurt shops — was a sweet and refreshing way for Bat Mitzvah guests to end the evening at the W Hotel Union Square. The planners at M.Studio Events worked with the team at Diana Gould Ltd to create an on-theme display complete with a “Jillyberry” logo, which resembled a real-life ice cream cart.

Dunk’n Donut Wall

While donut displays have been around for years, this basketball-inspired donut wall immediately caught our attention. Details Details worked with Shawna Yamamoto Event Design and 24 Carrots Catering and Events to create this “Dunk’n Donuts” dessert wall for this sports-themed Bar Mitzvah soirée at AV Irvine.

Green With Envy

photographer: Kari Otero Photography

Single-color themes are cohesive, clean, and creative, and we love how Florie Huppert Design curated this all-green Bar Mitzvah celebration at Tamarack Country Club. House of Flowers created green and white florals, Total Entertainment packed a green-lit dance floor, and of course, Florie’s team created an all-green sweet table for these lucky guests.

Something Blue

photographer: André Maier Photography

Pantone’s color for 2020 is Classic Blue, so this blue-themed Bar Mitzvah party from Kraft Events and designed by Ed Libby & Company was ahead of its time. We especially love the all-blue candy bar from Laurence Craig Catering, displayed in glass serving dishes and vases to match the modern venue, Hoop Heaven. Not pictured: dapper servers presenting bright blue cotton candy confections.

Shop ‘Till You Drop

photographer: Romy Modlin Photography

The planners at Alison Ross Events worked with designers at Kehoe Designs to create this Bar Mitzvah boy’s dream Kwik-E-Mart (a nod to “The Simpsons”), displaying all of his favorite treats and sweets. J&L Catering also provided additional desserts, like cookie sandwiches. The neon lights at Venue West put the structure on display, encouraging the young guests to shop for their sweets.

Kids in a Candy Store

photographer: Cobalt Photography

Rochelle L. Baker reimagined a candy store display for this sports-themed Bar Mitzvah party at LondonHouse Chicago. With a custom-branded backdrop sporting the Bar Mitzvah boy’s name from Atmosphere Special Events, this curated candy table resembles the traditional candy stores we all know and love. Mini milk shakes and other favorite desserts complemented the already-overwhelming display.

Neon and Sugar Glow Better Together

photographer: Domino Arts Photography

Chris Weinberg Events and Gilded Group Décor are known for their creativity, so we weren’t surprised to see them take a dessert like cotton candy to the next level. For this Bar Mitzvah celebration, hosted at The Fillmore – Miami Beach, guests enjoyed a glow-in-the-dark cotton candy station, which was a perfect complement to the other glowing, neon details throughout the party.

Put the “Candy” in Candyland

photographer: Jai Girard Photography

A Candyland-themed Bat Mitzvah obviously has to have candy — and this celebration, planned by Designer Event Chicago, had candy everywhere you looked. The focal point of the party, hosted at Northmoor Country Club, was the main candy station, with draped candy décor from HMR Designs, beautiful linen from BBJ Linen, and of course, every candy imaginable for guests to enjoy.
