TPD Design House kept party cups on theme. Acrylic Sticks perfected every little detail with starburst stir sticks and an acrylic bar menu topped with an astronaut exploring the rings of Saturn.

Every detail of this space-themed party — planned by Rachel De Marte Events — has us reaching for our cameras.

Kehoe Designs created an imaginative landscape with futuristic furnishings and geometric centerpieces.

Guests could order a Tang cocktail in a space pack at the laser-cut bar or enjoy photo ops with actors dressed as various sci-fi characters.

Finally, The Gold Coast All Stars topped off the evening with lively entertainment.

Make your dance floor the focal point of the celebration with a dramatic ceiling installation. Oulala! What an Event did just that at this space-themed B’nai Mitzvah party. A larger-than-life “moon” floated over a deep blue dance floor with unique star projections.

Just Right! Destination Management transformed the Adler Planetarium into a hip futuristic setting with mib pod chairs in a sleek white color palette.

Other out-of-this-world elements included custom-made geometric centerpieces, starlit projection mapping, and an LED bar area.

This visually-magnetic event at Moonlight Studios gets its inspiration from NASA’s twin Voyager space probes.

Projection mapping and installation artwork transformed this spacious venue into a kaleidoscope of psychedelic colors and futuristic fancy.

Greeters on stilts, along with bubble dancers, dazzled guests at every turn during this visually-stunning event.

An ever-changing and abstract-lighting installation — designed by Got Light — makes the future look brighter.

Hensley Event Resources and Blueprint Studios – Rental teamed up to create a utopia of up-lit glass banquet tables and geometric centerpieces that evoke a solar system in orbit.

We especially admire the up-lit cocktail tables that resemble flying saucers.

No doubt about it: The imaginative scope of this “Galactica” gala is as infinite as the universe itself.

Designer and Producer Galaxy Productions enthralled guests with a giant planetary ceiling installation as well as captivating neon tablescapes.

We especially love the variety of centerpieces that include bloom-woven planets and glow-in-the dark orbs.

Imagine the cities of the future. Where this will be skyscrapers soaring past the stars or flying cars zooming through puffs of clouds?

This “out of this world” Bat Mitzvah party has us anticipating future cityscapes. Towering centerpieces evoke a Sci-Fi Skyline while vibrant uplighting suggests the atmosphere of some distant planet.

Even the LED dance floor has us pondering the dance moves of the future.

This galaxy-themed party at SPACE EVENTS was equally spectacular with floating planetary centerpieces, astronaut ice cream, and a “Please Find Your Planet” seating station.

We especially love the planetary ceiling installation suspended above the dining area, not to mention the bowling lane.

Blueprint Studios – Rental and Bright Event Rentals set the scene with funky space-age furnishings and a bar setup with constellation-decorated panels.

Furthermore, The Lux Productions captured our imaginations with dynamic, neon lighting installations.

We especially love how Entire Productions mesmerized guests with LED robots and Storm-Trooper performers.

Scottsdale, AZ

The board game Battleship was so popular with kids (and adults) that it later inspired a science-fiction action movie.

Guess what? It also inspired this epic corporate holiday party.

This futuristic party boasted décor by Blueprint Studios — with everything from glow-in-the-dark arcade games to light tunnels. 

When it came to dining, M Culinary Concepts sparked our imaginations with a futuristic “salad-hands” wall and Dim Sum docking station.

Moreover, don’t miss the lounge seating that felt straight out of The Jetsons.

It’s true: Guests will always remember this elegant, yet lively Bat Mitzvah at SECOND.

Event planner Urban Art & Design amazed guests with iridescent-fringe décor, a lavish balloon backdrop, and walking LED entertainment.

With a future this bright, we are feeling all the love and excitement.

Guests were ready to explore the galaxy and beyond at this SpaceX event planned by Evoke Design & Creative.

Syzygy created a neon dreamscape with bright lighting and up-lit backdrops.

Futuristic robots, astronaut performers, and the vintage arcade-game Space Invaders kept guests entertained on and off the dance floor.

This futuristic party dazzled with show-stopping entertainment by J & D Entertainment.

LED-costumed performers (and glow-in-the-dark wearable trays) had everyone feeling right at home in this futuristic setting.

Servers donned metallic and robot-patterned leotards, while colorful laser lighting transformed the scene into an intergalactic Cloud 9.

This neon Bar Mitzvah party takes guests to cloud nine with electrifying neon tablescapes, serving trays, and violins (yes, you read that right). 

Total Entertainment made sure to end the evening with a bang. A water ball dancer floated above a psychedelic dance floor.

Other futuristic party details included LED signage, drama mask-shaped seating (you have to see it to believe it), and dramatic uplighting.

When the Chicago Symphony Center puts on “The Galaxy’s Greatest Hits,” you can expect a spectacular party.

Star Trek star George Takei mingled with guests, while dramatic starlit uplighting transformed the already majestic auditorium.

This corporate event was truly “out of this world.”

Sublime lighting by Got Light transformed this hip industrial space into a celestial wonderland.

Aerialists and LED-costumed drummers gave glowing performances, while cosmic signage made for a stunning backdrop.

Tommy Hilfiger’s 2018 Holiday Party might be in the past, but it has the future written all over it.

Astarte Creative set the scene aglow (literally) with LED hoop artists and LED violinists.

Other futuristic entertainment included mirror-suit dancers and LED stilt-walkers.

Neon signage and vibrant uplighting made for a galactic backdrop.

Annie Lee of Daughter of Design and PLANNIE took party guests out of this world with a galactic cocktail party for the PartySlate Miami community. 

Constellation Culinary Group dazzled guests with floating tartare bowls and CBD-infused “bubbling” ramen. 

Craft Cartel- Cocktail Caterer kept the party going with smoke-infused sips and vaporized alcohol (served via balloons). Best of all, each cocktail was perfected with a hand-painted acrylic stir stick, designed by Acrylic Sticks.

Catering By Michaels brought delicious catering to the Columbian Ball at Museum of Science and Industry, Chicago. Guests enjoyed everything from “galaxy mousse cakes” to “pop rocks truffles.”

Even the service staff partook in the festivities with photo-worthy space suits.

The gold and glitzy Crystal Plaza was the perfect place for this surprise 50th anniversary party. We absolutely love the ornate dance floor design, which mirrored a hovering balloon installation. Spiraled black, gold, and metallic balloons sparkled amongst the gorgeous chandeliers of this New Jersey ballroom.

This Great Gatsby-themed milestone birthday, planned by Event Du Jour, beckons guests to their seats with feathery centerpieces. Mirrored tabletops reflect opulent gold place settings and glimmering candlelight. We also adore how the Gatsby motif continued with feathery signage that doubled as the perfect photo op.

This 10th anniversary party, planned by Elegant Occasions by JoAnn Gregoli, wowed its guests from the moment they pulled up to an Excalibur automobile parked in the driveway. We adore the totally on-theme details by Ed Libby & Company, such as the martini-inspired centerpieces overflowing with pearled bubbles, and these oh-so-Gatsby place cards which incorporated the decade’s iconic font and art deco framing.

Cerbelli Creative planned a breathtaking Gatsby-inspired corporate event that was sure to leave a lasting impression on its attendees. Guests got to live the life of Jay Gatsby for the night, posing for photos from within a monogrammed vintage car parked in the New York City ballroom.

Ponoma, CA

This corporate event planned gave a nod to Jay Gatsby with its incredible designs. From the lounge areas to the ceiling décor to the illuminated bar, rentals by Blueprint Studios are what tied the entire event at The Glasshouse together. These luxe tufted gold chairs are reminiscent of the lounge areas at the awe-inspiring West Egg parties.

Los Angeles, CA

This WIPA SoCal Design Challenge transformed City Market Social House into a glamorous prohibition-era party. Crystal chandeliers dominated the chic industrial space along with yellow and white florals draped with greenery. Richly-hued velvet chaises from Premiere Party Rents infused additional drama cozied up to tablescapes embellished with mirrors and glass votives. Vox Productions perfectly lit model statues adorned in period-perfect ivory gowns.

There is no doubt guests busted out the Charleston on this opulent art deco-inspired dance floor at this 50th birthday party. Rendezvous Music performed singalong classics from this stunning stage boasting a luxe black and gold backdrop. Surrounding the room was mirrored furniture by Bowery & Bash with pops of velvet emerald, which perfectly complemented Kehoe Designs’ palm-inspired florals.

Fantasy Designers made this quinceañera party one to remember with luxe staging — complete with Art Deco designs and feathery décor. We love how guests entered this Gatsby-themed celebration via a red carpet. From there, guests enjoyed stunning decorations at every turn.

This New York City birthday party at CNVS Events immediately caught our eye: the iconic Gatsby quote “I like large parties, they’re so intimate” was projected across the raw space’s walls. The theme came to life more and more in every photo, including this shot of Gatsby’s iconic — and controversial — yellow vintage ride.

Gold balloon ceiling décor by Balloon and Paper elevated the look of this milestone birthday. Make sure to discover other opulent details such as the one-of-a-king bar installation with gold fronds and suspended crystal tear drops. We also love the balloon photo op that evoked Daisy Buchanan’s strings of pearls.

This Great Gatsby-themed Bat Mitzvah party wowed with pink lighting projections and golden candlelight by The Lighter Side. Event planner After Eight Event Planning and Designs amplified the look with lush pink florals and shimmering gold fringe.

Give us all the midnight blue accents! This champagne-pouring entertainment was suspended from beautiful blue draping by Art of Imagination. Jayne Weddings planned this roaring 20s party for the launch of Room 1520’s sister venue, The Justine. Luxe velvet furniture and mirrored details filled the space as fortunes were told and fire was breathed by the engaging entertainment.

This Los Angeles corporate event, planned by Revel Global Events, was all gold everything —  therefore perfectly fit for a Great Gatsby party, from the gold washed walls to the overflowing champagne towers. Also on theme was the glittering crystal chandeliers from which acrobats hung. This duo performance wowed as they swung across the towering ceilings donning gold sequined leotards.

We’re placing our bets on this Great Gatsby party planned by 1440 Event Design. The Palmer House Hilton played host to this 1920s gala, where guests were dressed to the nines in prohibition-era apparel. Casino tables and roulette wheels by Chicago Casino Suppliers filled the space where gala goers gambled and sipped on cocktails. We love how an on-theme, interactive activity breaks the ice and keeps guests entertained all night.

Leave it to the team at Colin Cowie Lifestyle to throw one of the most beautiful Great Gatsby parties we have ever seen. This New York gala kicked off with a 1920s-inspired flapper swinging from a feathered crystal chandelier. The cuisine and cocktails also lived up to Gatsby’s expectations with an impressive iced seafood display and — you bet — an absinthe bar.

Leslie Mastin Events planned this dual birthday party at a private residence on Long Island — quite fitting for a Great Gatsby party. Guests were greeted with a glass of champagne from this impressive tower as they entered the golden affair, designed by TINSEL Experiential Design. Guests enjoyed bathtub gin jazz as they nibbled on bites from Creative Edge Parties and sipped on-theme cocktails like “The Jordan Jive”.

Wolfgang Puck Catering – Houston hosted and catered a Great Gatsby-inspired launch party at The Corinthian, and the cuisine and cocktails were simply divine. Baked apple old fashioneds —  complete with branded ice balls — were served by costumed flappers.

Boston, MA

Guests fit right in at this Roaring Twenties-themed gala with sequined flapper costumes and stylish top hats. Event designer Tasha Bracken Events created a fully-immersive evening of charity and glamour with a live jazz band and “black and gold” silent auction. Some of our favorite details from this extraordinary night include feather-filled martini glasses, Art Deco backdrops, and a custom-designed dance floor.

Miami Beach, FL

We couldn’t believe our eyes when this Miami wedding at THE TEMPLE HOUSE was uploaded to PartySlate. PS Photography and Films beautifully captured the extraordinary projection mapping by United Projection that illuminated the all-white space. Eleven different art deco designs covered the walls and transported guests to a West Egg-worthy celebration.

Nashville, TN

We love how this wedding began with an elegant ceremony at The Bell Tower, a historic church dating back to the 19th century. Fête Nashville Luxury Weddings wowed Great Gatsby-style details that ranged from a Champagne wall to an Art Deco dance floor. Beautiful draping by Quest Events and elegant linen by BBJ La Tavola made sure every detail of this celebration was stunning and on theme.

This Gatsby-glam birthday party, planned by KeAira Chantell Events, featured luxe desserts by Déjà vu Sweets. These stunning sweets, made to look like jewels, are almost too beautiful to eat. Other picture-perfect details from this glamorous soirée included custom backdrops with painted gold flappers.

New York, NY

We think an event at the opulent Rainbow Room is the closest thing you can get to a perfect Great Gatsby party — and planner Amy Katz Events agrees. Katz filled the space with lively entertainment including a jazz band, cancan dancers, and corseted showgirls. This incredible four-tiered cake by Chic Sugars was also ever-so impressive in its intricate art deco detailing — and mouth-watering flavor.

Roller disco and a silent disco were merged together to create one unforgettable event experience. With a retro arcade, a throwback roller rink, and an entrance lined with 1970s music legends, this party would make moguls from Diana Ross to the Bee Gees proud.

Las Vegas, NV

It only makes sense that a disco ball this grand belongs to a Las Vegas New Year’s Eve event. With a sequin-filled club and hair so big you know it’s from the 70s, this party welcomed 2020 right.

New Orleans, LA

Remind us to look at this design next time we’re seeking seating chart ideas. Who wouldn’t want to find their table with a turntable place card display? “Groovy glamor” was the design inspiration, to which we say, a job well done.

Who said disco is dead? Even our little ones can appreciate a good disco ball — or in this case, a disco ball-inspired party cup. We love how this at-home kids birthday party put a French twist on our favorite decade.

With shimmering disco ball escort cards and metallic footwear provided at the door, guests were led into this Bat Mitzvah party with a pleasant experience in mind.

Droga5 turned disco into an on-brand disc5 for their annual company holiday event. We love their unique take on the popular party theme, with disco balls arranged into throw pillows, the addition of gold disco balls above the dance floor, and the eclectic furniture placed throughout the party.

If disco went on a tropical vacation, we imagine it would look like this. Pampas grass — one of our favorite wedding trends — came together with leafy palms to top the party’s center disco ball in a way we never would have thought of — and now can’t live without.
