Mattapoisett, MA
For picturesque waterfront views of the harbor and Buzzard Bay, Shining Tides is where historic coastal charm meets flexibility. With indoor and outdoor spaces, you can opt to marry on the oceanfront lawn followed by dinner and dancing on the Cape Cod style porch.
Shining Tides can accommodate up to 175 seated guests, or up to 200 with a tent.
Harwich Port, MA
For “stunning ocean views and dramatic sunsets,” Kait Elle, Owner of By Kait Elle Events, says, “Wychmere is a must-see venue!”
Blair Mitcham, Owner of BAM Events, notes that Wychmere Beach Club, “just opened a new location called the Dune, a beautiful beachfront property with a roof deck and large windows overlooking the harbor.”
Wychmere Beach Club can host up to 500 guests.
East Harwich, MA
For “understated elegance,” Tasha Bracken, Principal Event Producer of Tasha Bracken Events, notes that Wequassett Resort and Golf Club is truly unique with a “secluded and intimate feel while still providing all the amenities of a large resort.”
Jaclyn Watson, Owner of Jaclyn Watson Events, says, “With two locations for your ceremony options and four for the reception, this location can easily accommodate all sizes of weddings. Wequassett has stunning views, lush gardens, and an amazing staff that will take excellent care of you.”
Wequassett Resort and Golf Club can host up to 300 guests.
Chatham, MA
For “quintessential Cape Cod,” Elle states, Chatham Bars Inn is “where the sea quite literally meets classic New England charm and elegance. Stunning views combine with the possibility of endless unique experiences such as a private clambake, a beach bonfire, and a winter whisky bar.”
Bracken notes this venue is “the perfect destination location that brings back memories of old-world resorts” and is “a magical experience.”
Erin Davies, Founder of Erin Davies Consultancy, says, “Chatham Bars Inn is hands down the best spot on the Cape for a wedding. Total luxury but still maintains the Cape Cod charm.”
Chatham Bars Inn can host up to 300 guests.
Duxbury, MA
For “Cape Cod vibes, but without the tourists and traffic,” Elle recommends Duxbury Bay Maritime School. “A magnificent view of Duxbury Bay isn’t the only top-notch view you’ll find at DBMS,” she says. “Look closely, and you may get a glimpse of one of the world’s best spots for oyster farming.”

Cape Cod, MA
