What is your favorite event featured on PartySlate and why?
As I’ve been looking through albums on PartySlate while researching for articles, I’ve seen so many stunning wedding albums like this Romantic Rustic Summer Wedding. But I think the event that really takes the cake for me is this Fall Wedding at Malibu Rocky Oaks Estate Vineyards. I adore how the outdoor ceremony took place right atop the breathtaking Malibu mountains, and how the gleaming sunset perfectly complimented the golden furniture and fall foliage.
What is your favorite aspect or element of any celebration?
My favorite element of any celebration is definitely the music. I love how music has such great potential to set the atmosphere of an event, and there is so much you can do with the various genres of music. To me music is the aspect of a celebration that can help bring people together, whether it be singing along to a familiar throwback song that blasts from the speakers or swaying to gentle melodies on the dance floor.
What do you remember most about your all time favorite celebration (share a memory)?
The memory that stands out to me most after reading this question is an absolutely incredible speech that was given at one of my relatives’ wedding. The best man crafted a speech that, while hilarious and had everyone laughing out loud, was extremely touching and brought tears to everyone’s eyes. To me the speech represented the wonderful bond that the two shared, and it set the tone for a high spirited yet intimate reception.
