What is your favorite event featured on PartySlate and why?
My favorite event featured on PartySlate….I would be lying if i said I didn’t just spend an hour contemplating this. I think I would have to go with this Bel Air wedding from Lynden Lane Company. It is the perfect mix of greenery without being too “rustic” (since those two words are starting to become synonymous). This wedding also proves that an event can be elegant without being unattainable. It seems like the perfect environment for people to mingle and feel sophisticated without being totally over the top.
What is your favorite aspect or element of any celebration?
My favorite aspect of any gathering is always the lighting. This is something that really catches my eye when browsing through countless events each day. An event with good ambiance paired with warm lighting is always more appealing and there is a certain drama that comes with lighting that’s well done. Warm lighting is always more inviting and makes people look better. Photos are absolutely stunning in that type of warm lighting too too, giving a slight vintage vibe to every image.
What makes a celebration really stand out from the crowd?
In my opinion, the events that stand out are always the events with little touches of personalization and thought. The event should be a reflection of the person (or people) it is celebrating. The identity of the individual should strongly overlap with the identity of the celebration.
